The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) held evaluation field visits to 63 schools, in the period between 7/4/2013 and 22/5/2013.

The evaluation team looked at the achievements that have been done through implementing the healthy standards to reach and develop a healthy setting for living, learning, and working, and assessed their performance.

The Healthy Schools Project was launched in 2008/2009 as a pilot phase with the participation of 26 schools from all directorates, in addition to 40 schools from the Madrasati initiative, of which 32 schools were accredited as Healthy Schools. In 2012/2013, 67 schools participated in the project, of which 46 schools received the accreditation.

RHAS was established in 2005 under the direction of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah to promote health and to empower Jordanians to adopt healthy lifestyles and behaviors. RHAS community-based projects are implemented in accordance with the needs of the communities and revolve around the national health priorities.
