RHAS participates in the international change day

The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) has participated in the Initiative of the (Change Day), which was launched by The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) Under the patronage of HRH princess Mona Al Hussein .Change Day objective is to increase the quality of the health care services and patients safety nationwide through the participation of all of the health sector workers to make a pledge where they will focus on increasing the health service quality at least for one day a year.


The Royal Health Awareness Society team pledged to lead a healthy lifestyle day at workplace through having a healthy diet and practicing stretching exercises. 


Dr. Rami Farraj, Chairman of Board of Directors pledged to Advise each smoker and talk about the harmful effects of smoking, and provide advice and give a booklet on the effects of smoking and how to quit. 


Enaam Barrishi, Director General of The Royal Health Awareness Society pledged to do the tasks of the health teacher in the health education chapter in one of the participated schools in the healthy schools project. 


 (RHAS) was established in 2005 under the direction of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to promote health and empower Jordanians to adopt healthy lifestyles and behaviors. RHAS's community-based projects are implemented in accordance with the needs of the communities and revolve around the national health priorities.
