The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) has participated in the Teachers Skills Forum, the first regional forum of its kind that aims to address the most pressing needs of the educational sector in the Arab World.
The forum was Held by the Queen Rania Teachers Academy (QRTA) at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center in the Dead Sea, the two-day forum has brought together more than 700 educators from Jordan and the Arab world.
The Royal Health Awareness Society conducted a lecture about RHAS and its programs. RHAS team also presented two sessions about Think First injury prevention project entitled “Science for Safety”, and the Healthy Schools project entitled “Towards healthy learning environments”.
The forum has brought together a remarkable host of teachers and educators, aimed to promote experience and knowledge exchange between peers to empower teachers, and to expose them to rich educational knowledge they can use inside and outside of their classrooms. It is designed to emphasize the importance of a teacher’s role in student achievement.
(RHAS) was established in 2005 under the direction of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to promote health and empower Jordanians to adopt healthy lifestyles and behaviors. RHAS's community-based projects are implemented in accordance with the needs of the communities and revolve around the national health priorities.
