RHAS announces the accreditation results for the participated schools in the healthy schools program

The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) has recently announced the accreditation results for the participated schools in the healthy schools project for the academic year 2014/2015, where 59 schools out of 68 schools that passed the evaluation were accredited.


18 schools were accredited as gold level winners, 15 schools as silver level winners, and 26 schools as bronze level winners.


 The accredited schools included 6 private schools, and 10 schools as gold level accredited schools (follow up).


The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) held evaluation field visits to 68 schools, in the period between 7/4/2013 and 28/5/2013.


The evaluation team looked at the achievements that have been done through implementing the healthy standards to reach and develop a healthy setting for living, learning, and working, and assessed their performance.


RHAS was established in 2005 under the direction of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah to promote health and to empower Jordanians to adopt healthy lifestyles and behaviors. RHAS community-based projects are implemented in accordance with the needs of the communities and revolve around the national health priorities.
