The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS), and supported by (MEPI) the Middle East Partnership Initiative, have recently held a training workshop for RHAS health ambassadors from 8 Jordanian universities, to implement an educational health activities and support RHAS projects.

The ambassadors were trained on various skills, such as time management, presentation skills, leadership, teamwork, planning, and initiatives implementation, in addition to link these skills with the work they do in implementing health activities at schools. The training workshop was presented by Ahmad Al- Assad from Waqtak Training Company.

Mr. Siraj Al Hmoud, Shababna project senior officer express his gratitude to the students, and stress the importance of building their capacities to play a significant role in educating their peers and encouraging healthy lifestyles and behaviors.

The health traffic ambassadors’ project aims to establish a national network of youth volunteers and build their capacities to play a significant role in encouraging healthy lifestyles and behaviors.

It worth mentioning that The Royal Health Awareness Society is a Jordanian non-profit Organization established in 2005 under the direction of Her Majesty Queen Rania aiming to enhance the overall wellbeing of the local community, by raising health awareness and empowering Jordanians to embrace healthy lifestyles & behaviors. RHAS initiates & supports community-based health & safety interventions in partnership with public, private and civil society institutions.
